Our first event of 2009 saw a packed crowd to check out two fresh faces to the CAP stage; local talent Dan Clews provided an acoustic folk set submerged in roots influences drawn largely from his forthcoming album which even pulled CD sales out of the waiting staff, followed by Welsh band BenSem, who braved the Severn Bridge icesheets to deliver one of the louder sets the stage had seen which drew cries of approval from an upbeat audience in tune with the raucous frontmanship of the band.
